They are not gonna have the same numbers. they are two different bikes for two different purposes. The performance is different on each bike. I read on an old post somewhere down at the bottom of this page that some of the parts can be swapped, like the cam. if you want to change pistons then you'll have to bore the savage's cylinder...i think the DR's piston is larger.
